SynopsisTayea, a doctor from Upper Egypt, refuses to avenge his father's death, despite facing death threats. To escape, he deliberately commits a minor crime and gets himself imprisoned. While in jail, he discovers that his brother is working with Harby, the most notorious trafficker of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Tayea agrees to become a police informant, leaves prison, and infiltrates the artifact smuggling network. He convinces Harby that he is a “follower” — someone with the ability to detect the location of buried artifacts in underground tombs.
